Adobe Acrobat 8.1.4 Pro, Standard, and 3D update for Windows
and Mac
The Adobe Acrobat 8.1.4 Professional, Standard, and 3D update addresses
several known issues in Acrobat 8 software. Critical
vulnerabilities have been identified in Adobe Acrobat 8 versions. These
vulnerabilities would cause the application to crash and could potentially
allow an attacker to take control of the affected system. Adobe recommends
users of Acrobat update their product installations to version 8.1.4 using
the instructions above to protect themselves from potential vulnerabilities.
These updates resolve the issue from
Security Advisory APSA09-01 and
Security Bulletin APSB09-03.
