Adobe Acrobat 8.2 Professional, Standard, and 3D update
The Acrobat 8.2 release is a quarterly security update a fully encompassing
update which includes functional improvements as requested by customers
and security updates encountered during the previous quarterly period. This
release addresses a number of customer workflow issues, security vulnerabilities,
and provides more stability. Adobe recommends that you install the latest
applicable updates.

8.1.7 only. This multilingual update is available in the following language
versions: English, French, German, Japanese. To determine which version
of Adobe Acrobat you have currently installed, choose Help > About Adobe
Acrobat. The version number appears in the upper left corner below the Acrobat
logo.
Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat 8.2 Release Notes
Adobe recommends users of Adobe Reader 9.2 and Acrobat 9.2 and earlier
versions for Windows, Macintosh and UNIX update to Adobe Reader 9.3 and
Acrobat 9.3. Adobe recommends users of Acrobat 8.1.7 and earlier versions
for Windows and Macintosh update to Acrobat 8.2. For Adobe Reader users
on Windows and Macintosh who cannot update to Adobe Reader 9.3, Adobe has
provided the Adobe Reader 8.2 update. Updates apply to all platforms: Windows,
Macintosh and UNIX.
